Selected from more than 300 applications, PMaps joined the second cohort of Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders, a three-month program supporting women-led technology startups in India and went on to graduate at the program's Demo Day in Bengaluru.
Announced in September 2023, the cohort brought together women-founded and women-led technology startups using technology to solve complex problems and create positive social impact. The three-month program included mentorship, workshops, and access to resources and networks, along with modules built to address the friction women entrepreneurs face most like finding mentors, hiring talent, and building professional networks.
PMaps was built on a straightforward belief: talent decisions should rest on measurable skills, behavioral insight, and job relevance and not intuition. Selection into the program marked a milestone in that work, and connected PMaps with mentors and with other women-led technology businesses navigating a similar stage of growth.
The program culminated in an in-person Graduation and Demo Day in Bengaluru on 30 November 2023, where PMaps presented to a room of investors alongside the rest of the cohort. PMaps graduated as part of the second class and joined the Google for Startups Accelerator alumni network that carries forward the connections and momentum built over the three months.
PMaps continues to build assessment solutions that help organizations evaluate candidates through measurable skills, behavioral insight, and job-relevant evidence. Today, 200+ enterprise clients across 7 countries use PMaps to hire the right people and develop the ones they already have. Google for Startups now sits among PMaps' backers, alongside Indian Angel Network, LetsVenture, and Bajaj Capital.
Selection into, and graduation from the 2023 Google for Startups Accelerator: Women Founders cohort remains an important marker in that journey: as a women-led technology business, and as a platform built to make hiring more predictable.
